El Rocío Village: Walk the sandy streets of this unique, wild-west style town and visit the famous Chapel of the Virgen del Rocío.
Wildlife & Birdwatching: Use the binoculars we provide to spot flamingos, storks and birds of prey such as the Imperial eagle, plus deer and wild boar. The Iberian lynx lives here, but sightings are very rare.

Our exploration begins as we delve into the diverse ecosystems of Doñana, including a route inside a restricted area of the National Park, closed to private vehicles. We’ll traverse the park in 4×4 vehicles, allowing us to access remote and breathtaking landscapes. Immerse yourself in the beauty of Doñana’s varied habitats, from sprawling wetlands and lush forests to expansive sandy beaches. Along the way, we’ll take leisurely walks through select ecosystems, providing opportunities for close encounters with the park’s unique flora and fauna.
A highlight of our tour is a visit to the iconic village of El Rocío. Stroll through the charming streets of this historic village, renowned for its annual pilgrimage, one of the world’s most significant religious gatherings. You’ll have the chance to visit the Chapel of the Virgen del Rocío, a site of profound cultural and spiritual significance.
Our adventure continues as we explore the diverse ecosystems of Doñana, gaining insights into the local species and their habitats. We’ll traverse forests, wetlands, and other unique landscapes, learning about the park’s ecological importance.
After an enriching morning, there is a break with free time for lunch (not included): try some Andalusian cuisine at a local bar or bring your own picnic.
Then, we’ll venture to Doñana’s pristine beaches, stretching over 30 kilometers. These are some of Spain’s longest virgin beaches, where you’ll have the opportunity to walk among unique mobile dunes and learn about their fascinating formation.
As we continue our journey through the park’s northern regions, keep your eyes peeled for wildlife sightings. If you’re fortunate, you may spot wild boar, fallow deer or the Imperial eagle; the elusive Iberian lynx lives here too, but sightings are very rare.
Stops usually include the Dehesa de Abajo stork colony, El Rocío, a circular walk at the Palacio del Acebrón and the dunes and beach. The order may vary.
