Your excursion begins at 9 in the morning in Seville where you will be privately escorted with the assistance of a local guide.
Head into the Huelva province and begin the day in the town of Aracena as you make your way towards Sierra de Aracena de Picos de Aroche.
Enter the impressive caves of Gruta de las Maravillas (Cave of Wonders), magnificent natural caves filled with stalactites and stalagmites that will leave you in awe.
Upon leaving the Gruta de las Maravillas, you will be able to stroll the Dehesa de Sierra Morena, a natural environment declared a Biosphere Reserve and habitat for species such as the Wild Bull and Iberian Pig, and is therefore famous for its production of Iberian ham.
Afterwards you will take a break for lunch and embrace the exquisite cuisine of the province. Continue across the city, making a stop at the Peña de Arias Montano and enjoy the best view of the Nature Reserve.
Your last stop will be in the Minas de Rio Tinto, crossing into what seems like another planet entirely because of its reddish waters due to the iron and copper mining.
Then head back to Seville after a special day in the wonderful natural surroundings of Sierra de Aracena’s Natural Park, the grottos of the Minas de Rio Tinto and arrive back in Seville around 19:00 (7 p.m.) in the evening, early enough to enjoy a Sevillano dinner.
